Can the power cord (AC adapter) that comes with the unit be replaced with an AC adapter or cord that is commercially available?

Only the included AC adapter and USB cable can be used. The side for the main unit is the same as Micro USB Type B, while the side for the AC adapter is the same as USB Type A.
